About Barbara Brennan Healing Science

Brennan Healing Science is an energy healing modality pioneered by Barbara Brennan, physicist and former NASA researcher. Based on a highly developed conceptual and philosophical framework, it combines hands-on healing techniques with spiritual and psychological processes.

According to the BHS website, practitioners work with the "energy consciousness system," which includes the physical body, the chakras, the various levels of the aura, the dimension of hara/intention, and the core star/spark of the divine.

Brennan Healing Science aims to help recipients clear energy blocks and unhealthy patterns, find their soul's task, and connect to their divine qualities. The work also aims to promote physical, mental and emotional stability and well-being.

According to the website, Brennan Healing Science focuses primarily on "the seven lower levels" of the aura. According this model, the odd layers of the bio-field (1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th) are structured, whereas the even layers (2nd, 4th, and 6th), are unstructured or "filled with formless energy."

Barbara Brennan School of Healing

The Brennan School of Healing, established in 1982 in Florida (U.S), is a specialized, four-year college for the study of "hands-on healing and personal transformation." Brennan also has a school in Europe. The Brennan School of Healing is a four year program.

According to the Brennan School of Healing website, students are given "comprehensive instruction in self-transformation, hands-on healing techniques, body-oriented psychotherapy, high sense perception, meditation, creative arts, channeling, ethics and professional practice development."

"Students are taught not only how to read the field, but also to discern why it is damaged or distorted, and to utilize the appropriate healing technique from among a whole array developed by Dr. Brennan.

BBSH practitioners learn techniques to work with the seven levels of the field, to dissolve the energy blocks in the field (aura), restructure lines of light which are the template for the physical body, and repair the energy field of organs and chakras so that they can metabolize universal energy to nourish the human body and return it to a healthy functionality. Many other techniques are also available to the BHS practitioner, including past life healing, relational cords and spiritual surgery assisted by spirit guides.

Author of Energy Healing Classics

Brennan is the author of the energy healing classics Hands of Light and Light Emerging. I highly recommend both books if you are interested in learning to do energy healing yourself. They're dense with information, but worth plodding through. Brennan has channeled much of her information through a non-physical entity, whom she quotes or reports extensively in her books.
